Photocatalytic Oxidation occurs when UV Light comes into contact with a metal catalyst (such as titanium dioxide) which then creates a reaction to generate photoplasma. The photoplasma then reacts with unwanted pollutants and deactivates or destroys their reproductive function thereby rendering them unable to affect you any longer.
